Kimondo Camp is a luxurious semi mobile safari camp located in the Serengeti National Park, Tanzania. The camp has eight tents and is moved seasonally to offer a front row seat for viewing wildlife and to witness the great wildebeest migration.Kimondo Camp, formally known as Olakira, is a luxury semi mobile tented camp, that offers guest a truly authentic safari experience whilst being as close as possible to the wildlife. The camp is based in two locations in order to take advantage of two of the most spectacular events within the wildebeest migration: a river crossing and the birthing season.Between June and November the camp is located in the northern Serengeti offering guests exclusive access to the untouched Bolongonja area. The most striking factor of this camp however is its proximity to the Mara River enabling guests to witness the journey of 1.5 million wildebeest crossing the river whilst dodging the jaws of crocodiles.
